Travel Lounge – Code of Conduct

Applies To: All employees, consultants, contractors, vendors, interns, directors, and business partners.


1. Purpose

This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations and obligations of all individuals associated with [Your Company Name]. 4. Ethical Business Practices

4.1 Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption

Travel Lounge has zero tolerance for bribery and corruption.

  • No Bribes or Kickbacks: You must not offer, give, solicit, or accept bribes or kickbacks, whether in the form of cash, gifts, entertainment, or favors, to or from any individual or organization in connection with company business.
  • Third-Party Compliance: Ensure that consultants, agents, and suppliers working on behalf of the company also comply with our anti-bribery policy.
  • Gifts & Hospitality: Modest gifts and business hospitality are permitted only if they are lawful, transparent, infrequent, and not intended to gain improper influence.

Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, termination, and criminal prosecution.

4.2 Conflict of Interest

Employees must avoid any activity, investment, or relationship that could conflict with the interests of the company. Examples include:

  • Having a financial interest in a competitor or vendor
  • Hiring relatives without disclosure
  • Accepting gifts that could affect impartial decision-making

Disclose any actual or potential conflicts to HR or the Compliance Officer.

4.3 Insider Trading

Non-public, material information about the company or its partners must not be used for personal gain or shared with unauthorized persons.


5. Compliance with Laws & Regulations

Failure to comply may result in penalties for both the individual and the company.


6. Use of Company Resources

  • Assets: Use company property (laptops, phones, software, etc.) responsibly and for authorized purposes.
  • Time: Use work hours effectively and honestly.
  • Intellectual Property: Respect and protect the company’s confidential information, intellectual property, and trade secrets.

7. Data Privacy & Cybersecurity

  • Adhere to all IT and data security protocols.
  • Do not share passwords or access unauthorized systems.
  • Personal or client data must be handled responsibly and confidentially.

8. Responsible Communication

8.1 Internal Communication

Maintain honesty, professionalism, and clarity in all internal communications. Gossip, misinformation, and inappropriate remarks are discouraged.

8.2 Social Media

Employees must not post confidential or sensitive company information on social media. When identifying as a company representative, communicate professionally and in alignment with company values.


9. Health, Safety & Environment

  • Follow safety guidelines and report hazards immediately.
  • Promote sustainability by minimizing waste and conserving resources.
  • Encourage wellness initiatives and mental health support.

10. Reporting Misconduct & Whistleblower Protection

Employees are encouraged to report any violation of this Code, including unethical behavior, harassment, bribery, or safety issues.

Reporting Channels:

  • Direct supervisor or manager
  • Human Resources
  • Anonymous reporting helpline/email

Non-Retaliation Policy:

We do not tolerate retaliation against whistleblowers. Reports will be treated confidentially and investigated promptly.


11. Disciplinary Action

Violations of this Code may result in:

  • Verbal or written warnings
  • Suspension or termination
  • Legal action or regulatory penalties

12. Acknowledgment

All employees must read and acknowledge this Code of Conduct annually. It is the responsibility of every team member to uphold these principles at all times.
